Easy Cuban Pork
This recipe for Easy Cuban Pork is full of citrus flavors and pork that is so tender that it melts in your mouth. Making it in a slow cooker is easy, and its a tasty meal for any event.
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed and cut into chunks
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions:
In a slow cooker, combine pork, onion, garlic, orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper
Mix well to coat the pork evenly
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until pork is tender and falls apart easily
Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks
Stir in chopped cilantro and olive oil
Serve hot, over rice or with tortillas
