Hot Chocolate Fudge

Enjoy the warm tastes of hot chocolate with this thick and creamy fudge. You can enjoy it during the holidays or whenever you want a tasty dessert that tastes like hot cocoa.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes optional
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions:

Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal

In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter over low heat

Stir continuously until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt

Fold in the mini marshmallows and crushed candy canes if using

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is set

Once the fudge is set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift it out of the pan

Place it on a cutting board and cut it into squares

Serve the Hot Chocolate Fudge topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings
