Smoky Sweet Potato Burgers
These smoky sweet potato burgers are a satisfying vegan meal choice because they are full of flavor and texture. When you mix sweet potatoes, quinoa, and spices together, you get a hearty patty that goes well with all of your favorite burger toppings.
Ingredients:
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Grate the sweet potatoes and mix them with the cooked quinoa, rolled oats, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until everything is well mixed
Make burger patties out of the mixture
Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil
Each side should take three to four minutes to cook until golden brown
Place the patties on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper
After the oven is hot, bake them for 10 to 15 minutes to make sure they are warm all the way through
Put the sweet potato burgers on buns and top them with the things you like
