Lemon Ginger Chicken Wings

These Lemon Ginger Chicken Wings are AIP, Paleo, GAPS, and SCD compliant, offering a flavorful twist to a classic favorite. The combination of zesty lemon, pungent ginger, and savory chicken creates a delicious dish suitable for various dietary preferences.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, honey if using, minced ginger, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper

Add chicken wings to the marinade and coat evenly

Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results

Preheat the oven to 400F 200C

Arrange the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Drizzle olive oil over the chicken wings

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown

Serve hot and enjoy
