Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal

This rich chocolate peanut butter oatmeal made in the slow cooker is a dessert you can enjoy without feeling bad about it. Its full of healthy ingredients and tastes great, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth without going overboard on calories.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: sliced bananas, chopped nuts, dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

In a slow cooker, combine steel-cut oats, almond milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt

Stir well

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until oats are tender and creamy

Stir well before serving
